    Riding out from downtown

From downtown, look for route 95 Blink signed "to Langford" at Legislature Exchange. It runs up Douglas Street, stopping at Courtney St, Fort St and Pandora Ave, among others. Then it takes Highway 1 and carries on along Island Highway. Route 48, signed Happy Valley via Colwood, and route 61, signed Sooke, also leave Legislature Exchange and stop at the casino.

On the 95, your stop is Island Hwy at Wilfert Rd, the 13th after Legislature Exchange. Counting along is a handy backup on a dark, wet evening. On this side of the road, heading toward Langford, it is stop 101260. From there the casino building is about 75 m away. The 48 and 61 use the same stop, so watch for the same name on those buses.

    Getting home again

Going home, you cross to the other side of Island Highway. The stop there is 101251, about 150 m from the casino building. Route 95 is signed "Blink - to Downtown", while routes 48 and 61 read "Downtown via Colwood". All three end at Legislature Exchange.

This guide gives no departure times, so check the current last bus with BC Transit before the evening starts. Schedules change, and BC Transit publishes its own. The casino floor closes at 2 a.m. Sunday to Thursday, and at 4 a.m. on Friday and Saturday nights. Those closing hours say nothing about the buses, so plan the trip home first.

    Small things that help

    1. Check the current times with BC Transit before you leave home, and again for the ride back. This guide gives none, since schedules change.
    2. Note both stop numbers somewhere handy: 101260 for the ride out and 101251, across the highway, for the ride back.
    3. Bring government-issued photo ID. Every guest shows it at the door, and security scans it.
    4. Pack a light rain layer for the walk between the stop and the door. It folds small and weighs next to nothing.
